College

The Associated General Contractors of America is committed to promoting and supporting members, students, faculty and others in the study of higher education through research, scholarships, and conferences.

AGC is dedicated to preparing students for "real-world" experiences. Thousands of students across the nation are involved in the construction industry. Through recognition programs and student chapters, AGC supports higher education in the construction industry specifically related to managerial skills and project management. These student programs and activities serve as a positive reflection of student life and the industry as a whole.

Recognizing the importance of higher education and construction industry related research, AGC is dedicated to supporting the needs of the industry. AGC, in conjunction with the AGC Education and Research Foundation, a non-profit charitable organization, awards thousands of dollars each year for scholarships and industry research.

Student Chapters

AGC Student Chapters exist at over 120 colleges and universities, preparing students for careers in project management, estimating, environmental and safety. Student Chapters meet annually at AGC's Convention. The next AGC Student Chapter meeting will take place at AGC's 90th Annual Convention in San Diego, CA.

Scholarships

The AGC Foundation has provided more than $7.7 million for nearly 2,600 college scholarships (undergraduate and graduate) to students from over 80 universities across the United States.
