If you purchased DocuBuilder (Meter Mode/Subscription) or the Matrix online, once you install it you can enter your Electronic Invoice ID (EID) to gain full access to your subscription or meter account. Click below to download and install.

If you purchased DocuBuilder (Meter Mode/Subscription) or the Matrix by fax or phone, you can install it from your CD or download from here and install it. Once it is installed you will need to call DocuBuilder Technical Support at 1-800-282-1423 and provide the Access ID from your Registration dialog in order to receive an Access Key that will allow you full access to your subscription or meter account. Click below to download and install.


General Download Instructions for Software Installation:

  1. Create a temporary directory on your hard drive.
  2. Click here to download and save the file to the temporary directory.
  3. Double-click on the downloaded file to start Setup.
  4. The setup will start automatically. Follow the instructions on screen. (See below for abbreviated instructions for a network server installation.)
  5. The program name and icon will be placed on the Start Menu.

For new installations:

To gain access to DocuBuilder content, close any open project. Go to the Help menu and choose ?Register AGC DocuBuilder...? If you purchased DocuBuilder online and have a valid Electronic Invoice ID, click the ?Register Product Online? button, enter your Electronic Invoice ID, and click OK. Otherwise, call DocuBuilder Support at 1-800-282-1423 or e-mail docubuilder.support@agc.org and provide the Access ID which is in the upper left corner of the Registration dialog. Support will then provide an Access Key that will unlock DocuBuilder and allow you to begin creating contracts.

Additional instructions for a network server installation:

  1. Sit at a client machine, not at the server
  2. Close all open applications
  3. Start the installation by double-clicking on the download file.
  4. Choose Network Server as the installation type.
  5. At the next screen, click on the Browse button to navigate to your server.
  6. Create a folder for DocuBuilder on the server and proceed to install to that folder.
  7. When complete, do the client installation. While still at the client machine, use Windows Explorer to navigate to the client folder under the application folder on the server.
  8. Find DocuBuilder_Setup.exe and double-click on it.
  9. Do the Client installation on all machines that run the application.

Return Policy:
Any components of AGC DocuBuilder (this includes State Law Matrix) damaged during shipment to User will be replaced without charge upon return of the damaged components to AGC. If User in Subscription Mode is not satisfied with AGC DocuBuilder for any reason, AGC will refund the full annual license fee, less a 10 percent service charge, upon return in good condition of all components of AGC DocuBuilder within 30 days of the Subscription Date. In order to receive the refund, the User must call Technical Support and receive an Unsubscribe Access Key. The User must also send with the returned copy of AGC DocuBuilder a letter on the User?s letterhead, explaining the reasons for the return and certifying that no copies of AGC DocuBuilder have been retained. This refund shall be User?s exclusive remedy under this Agreement. All returns should be sent to the following address: AGC DocuBuilder/Return, Two Piedmont Center, Suite 300, 3565 Piedmont Road NE, Atlanta, Georgia 30305. No refunds will be permitted with respect to uses of AGC DocuBuilder under Meter Mode.
