Description:
The greatest threat to union and open-shop construction—the PRO Act—is one congressional vote away from becoming law. The bill would create conditions where unions hold virtually all the leverage in collective bargaining with union firms and in efforts to unionize open-shop firms. At the same time, the measure would force employers to divulge private information about their employees, denies workers the right to a secret ballot and would unleash an unprecedented wave of labor unrest.
During this webinar, AGC CEO Stephen Sandherr and other members of the AGC team will explain:
- What all construction firms need to know about the PRO Act;
- Its pathway for becoming law; and
- How AGC and the Construction Advocacy Fund is working to ensure its defeat.
