Construction Jobs Saved By Stimulus, AGC Quoted

AGC's chief executive officer Steve Sandherr was quoted today in a Reuters article that reported on construction jobs saved by the stimulus.  Sandherr noted that some cities are slow to start work on stimulus projects, and recognized the work as a way to put people back on the job. Overall, the article reported that a U.S. House of Representatives committee found that 77,470 construction jobs had been created or sustained by the end of July. Read the article here.
