DESIGN PROFESSIONAL INPUT INTO CONSENSUSDOCS STANDARD CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTS INCREASES AS CSI JOINS THE CONSENSUSDOCS COALITION

Washington, D.C. – The Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) announced that it has joined the ConsensusDOCS Coalition.

“CSI is excited to join the ConsensusDOCS Coalition. We look forward to bringing a diverse project team perspective to the process of creating standard contract documents for use by all participants in the construction industry. CSI’s participation with the Coalition aligns nicely with its mission of advancing building information management and education of project teams to improve facility performance,” states Walt Marlowe, CEO of CSI.

CSI is a national association of more than 13,000 volunteers (including specifiers, architects, engineers, contractors, facility mangers, product representatives, manufacturers, owners and others who are experts in building construction industry).

CSI joins 27 other leading construction industry associations in support of the ConsensusDOCS Coalition’s mission – to create fair and balanced construction contracts:

ConsensusDOCS offers a catalog of 90+ contract documents covering all methods of project delivery, ConsensusDOCS contracts incorporate fair risk allocation and best practices to represent the project’s best interests.
