BIMForum Attendance Soars, Congratulates First Education Program Graduate

AGC’s latest BIMForum meeting had near-record attendance, with nearly 300 architects, engineers and contractors on site in Atlanta. Attendees participated in tours of a construction project on Georgia Tech’s campus as well as Georgia Tech’s Digital Building Labs. In addition, AGC congratulated its first BIM Education Program graduate, Matt Baker (P.J. Dick, Pittsburgh, Pa.), who completed all four courses. The Construction Owners Association of America was on hand for a roundtable discussion on the future of BIM for facilities and property management. The BIMForum encourages the adoption and use of BIM technology and processes through increased collaboration in the project delivery process. The BIMForum has grown steadily since its inception in 2006, and now includes 2,000 members. For more information, contact Dmitri Alferieff at (703) 837-5386 or alferieffd@agc.org.
