Call for Presentations 2011 Training, Education & Development Conference

AGC of America is accepting proposals for a limited number of speaking opportunities for its 5th Annual Training, Education & Development (TED) Conference until Friday, Feb. 25, 2011. Anyone with expertise in the topic areas relevant to the commercial construction industry, including - but not limited to -  employees of AGC member firms and AGC Chapter staff, is welcome to submit a proposal. The TED Conference will be held October 3-4, 2011 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in downtown Kansas City, Missouri.  Speakers will receive a complimentary registration to the conference and one night’s stay at the Crowne Plaza. AGC is seeking presentations from industry professionals on a variety of topics, including:
  • Integrating training in succession planning
  • Teaching Lean Construction Processes
  • Using subject matter experts (SMEs) as trainers
  • Best practices in online/distance learning
  • Training on a limited budget/finding alternative sources for funding
  • Measuring ROI in training
A complete list of content areas, along with a framework for proposal submissions, and other important information for presenters is available in the attached PDF.
