CURT Accepting Applications for Workforce Development Awards

The Construction Users Roundtable (CURT) is now accepting applications for its annual Workforce Development Awards, designed to honor exemplary and innovative training and education programs that encourage individuals to pursue a career in the construction industry and/or enhance an individual’s construction skills. Applicants are asked to describe the way in which their program addresses recruitment, training, assessment, and retention in the construction industry. The awards are open to all organizations - including construction companies, AGC Chapters, community organizations, and partnerships - that meet the application criteria. The application deadline is July 29, 2011. CURT is an organization of the largest and most successful construction owners in the United States, including federal agencies, large manufacturing companies, and energy companies. Award winners will be announced during the CURT 2011 National Conference, to be held November 7-11 in Chandler, Arizona. Winners will be notified by September 30 so they may make plans to attend the conference. Instructions and an application are available online.
