Sixth Annual Airport Project Delivery Systems Summit – June 8th & 9th

The Sixth Annual Airport Project Delivery Systems Summit will build upon the previous year’s program by offering first-hand experiences in delivering airport projects.  Airports Council International-NA, Airport Consultants Council and the Associated General Contractors of America continue to promote this initiative together with the goal of improved airport project delivery.  Summit topics offer insights into using creative project delivery to address today’s most pressing airport construction issues such as financing and funding opportunities and pitfalls, effective contracting, responsibilities and risks for project participants and emerging trends in the industry.  For those new to Airport Project Delivery methods, a “Primer” session is scheduled for the first day to address the basics of Project Delivery terminology and the advantages/challenges of each delivery method.  A tour of the San José Airport’s new Terminal is scheduled for the morning of June 8. This event is a peer-to-peer airport owner event which features owners who have had personal experience with alternative project delivery.  Bob Montgomery, Vice President of Properties for Southwest Airlines, is the keynote speaker.
