It is time to submit applications for the 2011 Construction User Roundtable (CURT) Workforce Development Awards. This award is designed to provide significant national recognition for extraordinary, exemplary and innovative training and education programs that encourage individuals to pursue a career in the construction industry and/or enhance an individual’s construction skills.
Several AGC Chapters have won in the past for their efforts, including the AGC of Alaska partnership with the Alaska Career Academies; AGC of St. Louis’ Construction Careers Center (charter high school); and the Wyoming Contractors Association customized/concentrated training program.
The application deadline is July 29, 2011. Winners will be announced at the annual CURT Annual Conference, November 7-9, 2011 in Arizona.
