NCCER Seeks Interesting Construction Photos

The National Center for Construction Education & Research (NCCER) is looking for striking photography of real-life construction scenes in order to raise awareness of construction as a fulfilling career path. Photos will be used in NCCER books in order to help the organization produce the most authentic and helpful construction curricula available. All photographs should accurately reflect the subject matter and the scene as it appeared. Photos that have been digitally altered beyond standard optimization (removal of dust, cropping, reasonable adjustments to exposure, color and contrast, etc.) may be disqualified. Photographs should exhibit all safety standards as required by law. Photographs must be in digital format. Only online entries will be eligible. No print or film submissions will be accepted for entry into this contest. Photographs must have been taken within 365 days before the date of entry. The deadline is August 15, 2011. Images will be judged on originality, technical excellence, composition, overall impact and artistic merit. Winners will be announced on or before September 15, 2011.
