CM-BIM Development Update: Beta Test Complete

The development of the AGC Certificate of Management-Building Information Modeling (CM-BIM) beta exam phase was completed last week.  Fifty qualified professionals took part in the beta testing. These individuals were eligible to sit for the exam by attending all four units of BIM EP curriculum. Five AGC chapters participated in the beta phase by offering the assessment. AGC of America would like to offer a special recognition and appreciation to AGC of DC, Nebraska Building Chapter, San Antonio AGC, AGC of Wisconsin and AGC of St. Louis for their participation. Over the next few weeks the assessment results will be analyzed and a passing score will be determined by a panel of industry experts, AGC members and consultants. Candidates will be notified in late September if they have successfully passed the assessment and have been awarded the CM-BIM designation. We look forward to providing additional information on the official launch in the coming weeks.
