The National Association for Business Economics Elects AGC's Ken Simonson Vice President

The National Association for Business Economics (NABE) announced this week that it has elected AGC chief economist Ken Simonson to serve as the group’s vice president this year. NABE is the premier professional association for business economists and those who use economics in the workplace. NABE includes the most prominent figures in economics, business, and academia in its membership. As the group’s vice president, Simonson, who has been with AGC since September 2001, will work to improve economic educational opportunities for professionals, the quality of economic data, and public understanding of economics. Simonson’s election put him on track to serve as the economics group’s president next year. Simonson will take office September 13, at the close of NABE's 53rd Annual Meeting in Dallas.
