Candidates for the AGC Education and Research Foundation’s Outstanding Educator award take note: the application deadline for the 2012 award is Nov. 15, 2011. Applications may be found here. Candidates must be full-time, teaching faculty members of an ACCE or ABET-accredited construction or construction-related engineering program with at least four years full-time teaching experience. The Outstanding Educator receives a $5,000 cash award, is the Foundation’s guest at the annual AGC convention, and awards two $2,500 scholarships to students of his/her choice.
Ken Robson, full-time professor and Director of the Construction Science Division at the University of Oklahoma, receives the 2011 Outstanding Educator Award from AGC Education and Research Foundation President Tommy Burleson.
