AGC is Successful in Effort to Standardize USACE Past Performance Questionnaires

In another great AGC success, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) issued a memorandum, on Oct. 5, which implements a new process for obtaining Past Performance Information (PPI) by use of Past Performance Questionnaires (PPQs).  This change came about several meetings with USACE on the need to provide efficiency in the process for both the government as well as the contractor. Effective immediately, a standardized questionnaire will be used when PPQs are desired for new solicitations. The new process addresses industry complaints with respect to USACE requiring a multitude of different PPQs from the same clients for each and every solicitation.  The new process is more streamlined, mirrors NAVFAC processes and makes it easier on the industry to submit a PPQ in response to a solicitation. AGC thanks its members who worked with USACE in a successful effort to streamline this process. For more information, please contact Marco Giamberardino at (703) 837-5325 orgiamberm@agc.org.
