Oregon’s AGC Student Chapters Provide Update

AGC’s Oregon-Columbia Chapter recently took the time to interview Student Chapter leaders from each of the four schools it sponsors – Oregon Institute of Technology, Oregon State University, Rogue Community College, and Portland Community College. The students report being involved in a wide variety of activities, including networking and community service, which they especially enjoy for the opportunity to apply their academic knowledge in the field to help those in need. Students also appreciated the many opportunities granted them by the Oregon-Columbia Chapter to meet industry leaders at conferences and events. In many cases, the relationships pay off in internships and future jobs. The complete article, written by Oregon-Columbia Director of Safety and Education Colette Evers, can be accessed online.
