T and I Chairman Names New House Republican Members

Rep. Bill Shuster (R-PA), the incoming chairman of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee panel, this week named 10 Republicans who will be part of the committee in the 113th Congress. The committee currently has 32 Republican members, with the possibility that one additional member may be added. The new committee members include nine incoming freshman and one sophomore.  The freshman are Representatives Steve Daines (Mont.), Rodney Davis (Ill.), Thomas Massie (Ky.), Mark Meadows (N.C.), Markwayne Mullin (Okla.), Scott Perry (Pa.), Trey Radel (Fla.), Tom Rice (S.C.),and Roger Williams (Texas).  The new sophomore member is Representative Daniel Webster (Fla.).  The Democratic party has not yet filled its nine vacancies. Chairman-elect Shuster is expected to make subcommittee assignments, including chairmen and further staff appointments this month. AGC looks forward to working with the new members of the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee in the 113th Congress.
