AGC of America is pleased to announce the achievement of a new milestone, over three hundred and twenty individuals have now earned the Certificate of Management—Building Information Modeling (CM-BIM). Professionals located all over the nation have traveled to the 19 test centers to take their exam that earns them the professional accreditation, the Certificate of Management-Building Information Modeling (CM-BIM). In addition to the testing centers, this year AGC began offering the CM-BIM exam in conjunction with the BIM Forum. Seven individuals sat for the exam in Denver, Colo. on Monday, Oct. 7.
AGC updated Units 1 and 2 of the BIM Education program in 2012. With the update of the two units, AGC updated the credential exam. The updated exam was released in September following a beta period this summer. Candidates who took the original unit 1 and 2 can still sit for the original exam.
The assessment is administered by approved AGC testing centers at 19 of the association’s chapters. To find a testing center near you, please visit www.agc.org/cm-bim.
