The AGC of America Utility Infrastructure Division is pleased to announce the election of Kathy Freeman as Division Chair for 2024-2025. Kathy ascended to the position during the AGC Annual Convention in San Diego, CA. She serves as Safety Director for the Mortensen Denver Operating Group and focuses on the planning, development, coordination and administration of safety and health programs within the organization.

The AGC of America Board of Directors approved the Policy Statement on Digital Means and Methods to support initiatives that standardize how digital information is created, transmitted, and permitted for use in construction.

At the AGC Annual Convention in San Diego, CA, the Highway and Transportation Division by acclamation elected Amy Hall as Chair for 2024-2025. Amy is the Owner of Armstrong Steel Erectors, Inc. and a past president of the Ohio Contractors Association.

Join organizations and individuals nationwide in spreading awareness for work zone safety starting on April 15, 2024. The Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT) will be hosting the kick off event on April 16th with the theme “Work zones are temporary. Actions behind the wheel can last forever.”

The Federal Highway Administration’s (FHWA) Digital Delivery/Digital As-Builts (DABs) two-day virtual experience is the capstone event for the Every Day Counts 6 initiative taking place on March 20th and 21st. Join as they gather public and private sector subject matter experts, entrepreneurs, and solution providers in a collaborative virtual event. Be part of the innovation, energy and connectivity between DABs and the larger digitalization efforts that the DOTs are leading.

Registration is now open for the 2024 Transportation Construction Coalition (TCC) Fly-In. This meeting gives members an opportunity to hear from key transportation policy officials in DC and the opportunity to set up meetings with their congressional delegations to take the message of sound transportation infrastructure investment and policy directly to their Senators, Representatives, and their staff.
