Construction equipment is being targeted as a major contributor of air pollution.  All AGC chapters and members are encouraged to participate in a Free webinar to learn about clean diesel technology, regulations and requirements facing today’s construction industry.
We all know how fast technology is changing the way AGC member firms do business.  These leaps in technology don’t just happen in a vacuum; they must be tested and successfully used before being widely adopted.
EPA is seeking public input on regulating greenhouse gas emissions from buildings and construction equipment. AGC members and chapters can now submit comment letters to EPA through the AGC web site using a template comment letter.
The AGC Building Contractors Conference (formerly called the AGC Building Division Meeting) is scheduled for January 7-10, 2009 at the La Quinta Resort & Club in La Quinta, CA (www.laquintaresort.com).
This summer, EPA released a lengthy ANPR with public comment due by November 28, 2008.  The EPA web page for the ANPR is located at http://www.epa.gov/climatechange/anpr.html.
