Enhances the image of skilled construction workers and provides recruitment and training opportunities throughout Alabama. Funded through a state-required fees levied on commercial contractors. It is a partnership between the Construction Users Roundtable, Associated Builders and Contractors of Alabama, the Associated General Contractors of Alabama, and the Alabama Construction Trade Unions.

ACE Mentor Program of St. Louis

Introduces high school students to career opportunities in the architecture, construction and engineering industries. Students meet weekly with mentors, desigining projects, touring construction sites and completing hands-on solutions to real world challenges. Team projects involve AutoCAD and activities with a special focus on enhancing math, physics and economics skills.

Sed de Saber - Construction Edition

A computer-based, self-paced, interactive tool that addresses the training needs of the Hispanic workforce. This tool also has a component that provides insight into how a construction organization or business can publicize its outreach efforts within the Hispanic community at large. Produced by a partnership of HBI, NAHB, Lowe's Commercial Services and Retention Education.
