AGC of America would like to congratulate the 14 individuals who passed for their exam in September and October that earns them the professional credential, the Certificate of Management-Building Information Modeling (CM-BIM). Since its inception in 2011, 459 individuals have earned the CM-BIM.
Only four seats left for AGC’s Advanced Management Program (AMP) being held Nov. 9– 14, 2014, in Dallas, Texas.  For leaders in the construction industry, no program provides a more comprehensive, uniquely focused program for construction executives than AGC's Advanced Management Program. The AMP Program is designed for chief executives and senior level management in construction.  A minimum of ten (10) years of construction experience is needed or six years of construction experience and a Bachelors degree are required for acceptance into this competitive course.
Registration is now open for AGC's Construction Project Manager Course (PMC) being held Jan. 25– 30, 2015, at the Cooper Center Lodge in Dallas, Texas.

The application deadline for the 2014 AGC Outstanding Student Chapter has been extended to Friday, Oct. 10, 2014. AGC Leadership recognizes what a busy time of year May is for students and in order to best accommodate our students the deadline has been extended. The award was designed to recognize and reward AGC Student Chapters for their dedication to community and public service projects.
AGC of America is now accepting proposals for a limited number of speaking opportunities at AGC's 96th Annual Convention, March 18-20, 2015 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Proposals are due by Friday, July 25, 2014.

The Associated General Contractors of America announced today that it is joining the national Hiring Our Heroes program as part of the construction industry’s effort to add 100,000 veterans over the next five years.  The new partnership will make it easier for construction contractors to find, recruit and hire veterans, association officials added.
