The AGC Education and Research Foundation has announced 130 scholarship recipients for the 2013-14 academic year. A full list by state is on the foundation’s web site. Undergraduate students will receive $2,500 scholarships, renewable for up to three years. The scholarship application for the 2014-15 academic year will be available online on July 1, 2013.

In a joint effort between AGC of America and AGC Florida East Coast Chapter, AGC is offering the CM-BIM exam for the first time at the BIMForum. Although there are 19 chapter testing centers across the United States, offering the assessment at the BIM Forum will give potential candidates an alternative option and an opportunity to attend the conference (separate fees do apply).
The Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) is pleased to announce that it has renewed its Authorized Provider status by the prestigious International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET). While many organizations offer some form of continuing education credit, only Authorized Providers can award the IACET CEU. IACET Authorized Providers are required to re-apply and be reauthorized every five (5) years.
The International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) has awarded reaccreditation status to the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC). IACET Authorized Providers are the only organizations approved to offer IACET Continuing Education Units (CEUs). The accreditation period extends for five years, and includes select programs offered or created during that time.
AGC of America is pleased to announce that we had nearly 150 students from college and universities across the nation attend the AGC Student Chapter Annual Meeting held during AGC’s 94th Annual Convention in Palm Springs in early March.
